This collection contains two receipts from 1864. The first is a receipt of a pony sold by Lt. Henry J. Callis to Samuel B. Stokely of the 40th Regiment of the Illinois Infantry at East Point, Georgia, September 23, 1864. The second receipt is for the sale of the same pony by Stokely to W.L. Dalton near Vining Station, Georgia, November 8, 1864.
